Standard Class Mail Saves Companies Lots of Money
One ounce letters can be metered or permitted at the Standard Class postage rate of only 27.3 cents each, if they meet USPS criteria for Standard. Access Mail provides processing services to assure your mail will qualify.
Your daily mail can be Standard Class Letter Mail if it is not required to be mailed as First Class Mail, or other class according to the US Postal Service. It must also comply with specific preparation standards to use discounted Standard rates. It is most often used to send:

- Newsletters / bulletins
Standard Mail is often referred to bulk mail. Qualifying Standard letter mail, including nonprofit mail (which can use even lower postage rates), can be in envelopes or be self-mailers, including letter-size postcards. There are no individual piece rates for Standard.
Currently each mailing must meet a minimum quantity of 200 pieces or 50 pounds. As of May 2009, there are additional addressing requirements placed on mail to qualify for Standard Class rates. Access Mail has added the technology to assure our clients comply.
